About the Artist

Kidney transplant patient Ayla, 10, is "doing great!" today. But she's had to spend a lot of time at SickKids. The artist in Ayla found the positive in her experience: "I like to make art because it's fun. Being at SickKids helped me fall in love with colouring and drawing because they gave me every single art supply I needed. I could use all the colours I wanted!" She hopes you enjoy her colours – and the gingerbread man her brother Zaki added to the gallery.
